Welcome to Livewire. We are sponsorship consultants who guide clients through every stage of the sponsorship process. Jill Downey

A board member and director of Core Media and former Deputy MD of Starcom, Jill has fifteen year’s experience in the media industry, acting as strategic advisor to brands including AIB, An Post, Musgraves, INM and Emirates. Jill brings a wealth of understanding of the value of media exposure, the real prices paid by brands and the use of insights to plan experience which matter to consumers, and have real impact for brands.

Over the past ten years Jamie has worked across the media industry. His diverse experience not only includes leading sponsorship activation for brands such as Heineken and Three, but also producing advertiser funded programming (AFP) for clients including Nokia, Kellogg’s and Unilever. Before that, Jamie produced current affairs radio on Newstalk as well as researching and producing RTÉ television programmes including the Late Late Show and RTÉ’s coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Tony is Emeritus Professor of Marketing, Smurfit Graduate School of Business, UCD. He is internationally recognised for his pioneering research and publications in sponsorship and has worked with the International Advertising Association, the World Federation of Advertisers and ESOMAR on sponsorship projects. He has consulted with international organisations such as UEFA, Petrobras and Alltech as well as Irish organisations such as the GAA, the National Concert Hall as well as major Irish brands.

Noel Martyn

Noel has a wealth of experience in his 26 years in the communications industry, having worked at a senior level in a number of Ireland’s leading media agencies including Mediaworks, Mediavest and Carat. During this time he has worked on many leading domestic and international brands including McDonald’s, Bank Of Ireland, Cadbury, SPAR, Irish Life and the Road Safety Association.
More recently Noel joined Livewire as head of sport where he leads projects for rights holders and sponsors.

Eoin joined Livewire from TV3, where he worked across sponsorship, promotions, product placement and advertiser-funded programming. He worked very closely on TV3’s coverage of the Rugby World Cup 2015, across a number of different projects for brands such as Land Rover and Heineken. Eoin has extensive experience in the areas of sales management, negotiation and PR, while he also has an acute understanding of the importance of managing the relationship between sponsors and rights holders.

Bethany joined Livewire on the Core Media graduate programme, having recently completed an MSc in Marketing at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business where she worked on projects with the likes of P&G and Dunnhumby. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology. Bethany works across all aspects of Livewire’s business including strategy, research, measurement, media sponsorship and advertiser funded programming. She was recently appointed to the ‘Future Leaders Board’ of the European Sponsorship Association.

Brian Lavelle

Client Associate

Brian joined Livewire as a Client Associate after graduating with a second class honours degree from Trinity College Dublin in Business and Economics. During his time in college Brian has worked on various marketing and economic case studies and completed advanced marketing and macro-economic modules. He has also worked in the financial services sector with KPMG.
